My first attempt at making one art per day – that resolution didn’t last long
Month: March 2019
One of my gran’s last watercolours
Gran didn’t do much painting towards the end of her life. This one would be late 90’s and I think she discarded it because she was unhappy with the result.
Ink Hendrix 1994/5
I used to have time to practice Celtic knots
…back in the 90’s
Photo of the day
This blackbird was not happy to see 1 million People’s Vote/ Remainer/ anti-Brexit protestors marching past its nest near Hyde Park this afternoon
Jimi Hendrix sketch 1993/4
I blatantly traced this from a book 😉
My exam technique, 2013
Watch out for red herrings
“Hell is the truth seen too late” 2019
Part of my one art per day: Thank you to the medieval artist whose marginalia sketch I copied
Editing an inkjet printout 2003/4
Part of my one art per day: I had my own photo printer a long time ago. I accidentally discovered that spilling water on an inkjet photo, printed on glossy paper, washed away some ink and changed some of the colours. This is a friend’s photo of the Statue of Liberty, edited with a cotton bud.
